You need to adjust your resume, your cover letter and your application every time you apply for a job.
It should be tailored to meet the job description and the company that you are applying for. This could mean minor adjustments like your skills and experiences. Just make sure that these relate to the job you are applying for.
Your resume should always reflect the keywords and phrases that are used in the job description.
You should be able to tweak or adjust your resume at any time so that it becomes easier for you to keep it updated.
